Christmas Day

We had to be at my parent's house at 9:30 am Christmas morning for Christmas with my Grandmother and family.  We rolled in a little later than that. It takes us a little longer to get out the door with two kiddos and we were running a little behind after our Christmas morning.

We started eating as soon as we got there. We had a yummy breakfast and quickly opened gifts.

Brady got a Leap Pad 2 and case and remote control car. Presley got a couple sweet outfits. I didn't take a single picture. We were only there for about an hour, so there just wasn't much time. Bryan snapped this picture of us as we were leaving.

Obviously I didn't have much time for hair fixin'. My hair pulled back is usually a dead giveaway.
We had to wrap it up pretty quick, because we were supposed to be at Caleb's parents at 10:30 am. We had Caleb's brother text us when they left their home about and hour away. They text us around 10:15, so we knew we had a little more time. We made it to his parents house about 11 am.

Presley was good through the most of present time, but she was so sleepy. Caleb took her and got her to sleep and she slept for about 2 1/2 hours. We were so happy, but other family members were a little disappointed they didn't get to see her awake much. Oh well... She wouldn't have been much fun awake anyway. Girl was worn out from all the festivities.

We opened gifts. We all got so much here! Everyone just rips open their gifts, so I have no idea what anyone got. It is crazy with paper flying everywhere. Carleigh is two  and is super sweet, but she was over it. She absolutely refused to say thank you. She finally gave in. It brought back memories of Brady doing similar episodes of unwillingness to say thank you  in  years past. Fortunately, he did well with that this year, but we had new challenges to overcome.

Caleb's parents came across this four wheeler and princess car over the past year for no cost to them. They were both in good condition, but needed new batteries. Caleb's dad spent some time and money getting them cleaned up and running for each of them for Christmas. They waited until after we ate to pull them out. They were both so excited. We had to bundle up and ride them outside a little.

Brady one the way home. He was exhausted! Sorry it is blurry, I was trying to snap the picture without waking anyone.
We had a second breakfast here. It was good, but I couldn't eat much. We didn't have anywhere else to be, so we stayed for a while. We headed home late afternoon. Brady and Presley played with all their new things and had an early bedtime. I found homes for the new stuff and Caleb and I watched The Family Man, before heading to bed.
We had a wonderful Christmas! It seemed a little crazier than normal and went by very quickly! Our life in general is a little crazier, I am sure it has to do with an entire extra person joining our family.
