6 month photos

Saturday night, a friend of mine from high school met us at my parents house to take some 6 month pictures of Brady. I won a session from her blog a few months ago. Andrea is a photographer in the Brentwood area. She brought along her new husband, so I was excited to meet him as well. She is so talented. I am so happy we got a chance to work with her and catch up a little. She is so sweet and talented. We dragged her all over my parents neighborhood and she even got a little dirty. Sorry! She did a wonderful job and so did Brady! He just did whatever. Once you see some of the pictures you will understand. My sister tagged along and we were all glad she did. She just acted crazy and helped get Brady to smile. You can check out a sneak peak HERE. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Be sure to let me know what you think. We will get a disk in a couple weeks with the rest. I will be sure to post some then! Thank You so Much Andrea and Andrew!

Green Beans!!!

We got the o.k. from Brady's doctor this week to start vegetables. He has shown a huge interest in food over the last couple months, so we have been looking forward to this.
What do you think?
Do you think he liked them?

Oh Man Did He? He LOVED them! This dietitian momma couldn't be more proud! Vegetables excite me enough as it is, so my baby engulfing the WHOLE jar. Whoa! It just doesn't get better than that! Ha!

6 Months Old

Brady is 6 months old today! Wow! He went to the Dr. today and weighed 16 # 15 oz. and was 26 inches long. He had 2 shots and a toe stick. He did really well. He only cried after the 2nd shot. He stopped soon after I picked him up. He is doing great. He is right on target with all development. He is so much fun these days. He can sit up. He loves sitting with us on the couch. He just looks around like I am just sitting on the couch with my awesome parents. He is so attentive and doesn't miss anything. He blows raspberries all the time. He is screaming and babbling non-stop. He loves his momma and his daddy and smiles so big when he sees us. He really wants to crawl, but isn't quite strong enough. He flirted with all the nurses! But who could resist this face?
Stay tuned for Brady's 1st pool party, green beans, and 6 month photos later this week!

Father's Day!

This is my husband! He is a great husband, the best really!
He is handsome!
He is silly!
He is in love with me
and
Our son!
More than you could ever imagine!!! Brady woke Daddy up this morning and gave him his card and presents. Caleb are such a wonderful father and are so so so helpful. Brady adores you and thinks you are so funny, as do I! We are so blessed to have you in our family. We love you! Happy 1st Father's Day!

Note: Brady does sleep in pajamas or a gown but this morning he, his pj's, and blanket were all soaked when I picked him up out of his crib, so I changed him out of the wet clothes and we just came to wake up daddy in a clean diaper. Just so you know.

Happy Father's Day to all Dads!

Uncle Cameron gets Married.

This weekend was my brother, Cameron's wedding in Louisville, KY. Cameron and Lauren have been engaged for almost 2 years so we have been anticipating it for a while. While I was pregnant with Brady we were not sure if we would try to take him or just leave him behind with Caleb's parents for the weekend. When Brady arrived and was so so so good, we couldn't leave him behind. So we all loaded up on Thursday to Louisville. This was Brady's first road trip over an hour, but his fourth wedding. He did just great! He didn't always sleep when I wanted him to, but it was o.k. Traveling with a 5 1/2 month old is extremely hard work. We had a great time, but were so glad to be back home. Here are some fun moments from our trip.
All loaded up and ready to go!

Heading to the church for the rehearsal Brady and I at the rehearsal

Brady finally went to sleep right before the rehearsal dinner.

Bride and Groom arriving

Brady and his beautiful Aunt Lauren
One last stop before heading home! The Louisville Slugger Museum. Of Course we couldn't miss that. We got Brady a personalized bat with his name. His daddy has one so he had to have one too! Now I have to put it in a shadow box and hang it in his room.

Cameron and Lauren make a beautiful couple and we are so happy for them. We were happy to be a part of their special day. We wish them nothing but the best for many, many, many years to come!!!
