Weekend

We had a great weekend.

 

Saturday morning we spent a little time working around the house. We got cleaned up around lunch time and dropped the kids off at Caleb's parents house.

Caleb and I spent the rest of the day together doing whatever we wanted. We shopped at Target and Belk, ate an early dinner at The Pharmacy, and then shopped some more and at Opry Mills, specifically the new H & M. 
 

It was good day out enjoying each others company. It is so easy to just get distracted and busy with life. It is always a good choice for us to spend some time together away from the kids just being together.

 

Brady and Presley had a great time at their grandparents house. They both love going to both sets of grandparents. Presley watched us leave and didn't cry or fuss. That is a success, my friends. (We usually sneak away from girl friend. )

Sunday was a crazy day. After worship services I helped host a baby shower for a friend's sister. She just moved in with her sister along with her daughter and is expecting a baby boy. They are literally living on top of each other right now.

It turned out to be a sweet, little shower. It was decorated with blue chevron and burlap and we just did a dessert bar since it was Sunday afternoon. Everything was cute and yummy.

We were back at the church building at 5 for a Bible study, worship services, and an ice cream supper.

It was a good weekend, but went way too fast as always.

In developing news, Presley is (finally) taking several steps alone. She has been pulling up, cruising, and walking holding my hand for months. She has finally let go and taking more and more steps each day.
